Right now, CLA works for Shopify POS and support is being developed for online stores.  Once completed, we will support merchants with physical, online or both types of stores. A.  Find CLA in the Shopify App Market at https://apps.shopify.com/encorecla, select Add App, install the Starter Plan and select Customer Loyalty Accelerator from the applications listed on your dashboard. Create your store’s card program account and associate it with your POS terminal by selecting “Let’s Get Started” from the Thank You screen. A.  Yes. You may share this program across all locations within your business, allowing your customers to earn and redeem their rewards with the same plan across all of your stores.

 

A.  After completing initial setup on your POS terminal, you may log into your card program account at https://rewardscla.com/ and upload it. Once uploaded, please contact customer support by web help, email or phone at https://customerloyaltyaccelerator.com/contact/help/ to order rewards cards with your logo included. Keep in mind, the use (distribution) of printed CLA Rewards Cards is optional.

A. During checkout, ask your customers whether they are participating in your rewards program.  If they are, then look them up with Check Balance and apply available rewards towards the sales transaction by following the steps in “How do I redeem a reward from a customer’s account?"  If not, then you can activate a card for them before completing the sale.  After the sale is completed, they will receive a SMS notification with a request to verify their card account information at https://rewardscla.com/verify.  The request includes verification of information, creation of an account password and agreement to terms of service.  For more details, please consult the screencast found athttps://rewardscla.com/shopify_screencast.2020.08.03.webm.

A.  The customer sales associate applies a customer’s balance toward a purchase by selecting Use Existing Card from CLA’s Apply Balance or Activate Card screen. When the current balance appears, select Accept and the balance is automatically applied as a discount to the chart at checkout. A.  Customer Loyalty Accelerator (CLA) rewards card accounts can be activated by a sales associate on the POS terminal by entering a customer’s Card Code (Optional), Mobile Phone Number, First Name, Last Name and Email Address and selecting ACTIVATE on the Activate Card screen. The customer will receive a SMS notification with a request to verify their card account information at https://rewardscla.com/verify. The request includes verification of information, creation of an account password and agreement to terms of service. A.  When a reward amount is used in a sales transaction, it is treated as a discount towards a full or partial payment to the merchant for items in a shopper’s cart. If a remaining balance is due, then payment is the customer’s responsibility at checkout.
